Access testing this week will impact 1st block for the most part. Assignments for the week are tentative. You will need to use your book and the assignments below if you are missing class due to testing. Test on this unit for 3rd block will be on Friday as of now. This week we are beginning unit 2 which is our congruence and similarity unit. Monday- parallel lines and angles formed by a transversal. Tuesday- interior and exterior angle theorems of triangles, isosceles triangles and equilateral triangles. Wednesday and Thursday- congruent triangles Friday- parallelograms Please bring your textbook on Monday as we are using it in class everyday this week. Monday's classwork: Pg.82-84 1-13; 31
Your assessment on the transformations unit will be on Thursday. We will review on Wednesday. On Tuesday, we will review and practice dilations. The classwork on dilations is not an electronic file. On Friday, we will begin our unit on congruence and similarity.
Please return your signed syllabus as this is your first participation grade of the semester. If you did not complete the translations class work on Friday, please do so and turn it in when we return to school this week. We will complete our notes and practice activites on reflections, rotations, and dilations this week. Our assessment which was scheduled for Friday will be postponed until the 16th or 17th. Your review will be homework which we will go over in class. Application problems on dilation and EOC review questions will be done in groups. You will need your textbook and workbook that was issued last semester when we get to dilations. Please see me for your translations, reflections and rotations classwork if you were absent .
